Lily Skourides

Thesis title: Exploring the use of participatory research to propose strategies to improve equity in the outcomes and experiences of working-class undergraduate students in higher education
Lily’s (she/her) research interests centre on participatory methodologies, widening participation and social justice in (higher) education. She has a wide experience working across Higher Education as a co-researcher, research assistant for the youth and community group and in peer-to-peer support at ManMet. Whilst her PhD project focuses social class, Lily’s passion for equity is intersectional, working on projects that also focus on the inclusion and belonging of LGBTQIA+ students across differing educational levels.
Lily’s doctoral research is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council.
